Nearly a century later and named after Paul Nash's painting of the destroyed trees in No-man's Land - this image was drawn from life and then collaged on top of afterwards with the ephemera and household belongings I collected from the rubble in West Mosul - which was ripped apart in the battle to defeat ISIS in 2017. It's a view of the old city from the last remaining bridge at the time.
